NEW YORK FASHION SPRING 2011 : STELLAR!

New York Fashion Week Spring 2011 was a HIT. Marc Jacobs blew us away with his amazing 70's inspired dressing, which as he says was inspired by escapism and girls in Hawaii inspiring his collection and it was to me a love letter to fashion with all the great hats and the tailoring of the pants and the flowing dresses. Not to be outdone my favourite of the lot Michael Kors did it again with his effortless luxury approach to fashion and his jet set looks. He created this collection by being inspired by what he sees when he looks outside his window. Beautiful white linen jackets and pants, Camel trench coats and not forgetting the sleeveless trench coats and the amazing draped dresses that fall like as if the models were wearing towels.
